We had a fantastic time celebrating VE Day across our houses in May. From Union Jack decorations and themed cocktails to street parties and sing-alongs, our tenants enjoyed marking this special day with plenty of food, fun and festivities. We also had the wonderful bonus of celebrating Ruth's 99th birthday at the same time!

At Beachside, Worthing, we got into the spirit with lovely VE Day decorations, including bunting and flags throughout the house, plus some delicious VE Day cupcakes to mark the occasion.

Holdenhurst, Heathfield really went all out with a fantastic street party (which doubled as Sharon's birthday celebration too). A massive thank you to all the Holdenhurst Team and our wonderful volunteers, Vera, Dave A, Sonia, Rosemary, Dave J & Gill who helped get everything set up. Later that evening, we were treated to a special VE Day sing-along with the Seaside Singers.

Over at Abbeyfield House, Hove, the celebrations included a VE Day party complete with themed cocktails to toast the day in style.

Meanwhile, at Abbeyfield House, Tunbridge Wells, we had double the reason to celebrate with VE Day festivities alongside Ruth's incredible 99th birthday at Cadogan Gardens. Fun was had by all, including Jelly the Pug!
