Lade House is situated in the Upperton area, part of Eastbourne’s old town. The newly extended ‘Beacon’ shopping centre, library and railway station are within walking distance, there is also a regular bus service available to the town. As we are in a seaside town you are not far from the famous ‘carpet gardens’ the centrepiece of Eastbourne’s promenade and sea views. This location offers the best of both worlds.
Lade House is a traditional Abbeyfield House with lunch and supper provided daily by our own staff, in the communal dining room. Breakfast is self-catered, with provisions of your choice supplied by us as part of your tenancy. Many tenants meet for morning coffee in the lounge area, creating a social environment and friendly atmosphere.
We like our residents to make decisions about the house, after all this is your home. Help us to organise summer garden parties, and share your ideas at regular house meetings.
Abbeyfield House staff are available daily. Our house staff are there to provide your catering service and be a source of support, to aid your independence. We are not able to provide personal care or assistance with medication but we can help you to arrange the support you need in these areas.
